Your Instructor
I am dedicated to teaching Natural Living! I've been involved in teaching in the wellness industry since 1984, studying aromatharapy since 1995. I'm a mom of six and am blessed to have journeyed into the path of whole foods, organic living and essential oils. My husband and I have served together in various ministries the past 15 years including men's, women's, children and teens. I believe we have a responsibility to care for ourselves so we can best lead these younger generations and support the broken in our communities with a healthier way of living. I'm currently a certified Birth Doula and support moms and families in living the most natural life they can - you are our future generations of pure, natural living.
I've studied Aromatherapy at the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy and Clinical Aromatherapy with J Buckle and Associates and am an ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), Continuing Education Provider through the Yoga Alliance, Trauma Sensitive Holy Yoga Instructor and Registered Holy Yoga Instructor (R-HYI). I'm also a Certified Body Ready Method Pro and I'm committed to lifelong learning in this field that really brings whole, natural living to a simple level. I enjoy taking complex subjects and making them easy to integrate into busy families and lives.
My speaking and teaching has taken me into women's groups, medical facilities, corporate offices, gyms and wellness centers. I've created many workshops and trainings including 1-8 hour, weekend and 6-week courses like those featured here at the school of Natural Living.
My years working in high intensity corporate America and in a busy family life have given me first-hand experience in integrating whole foods, green living principles and mind-body techniques into everyday life. I've practiced many therapies including homeopathics, detox and cleansing, heavy metals cleansing, numerous diets and more. From these experiences I've developed curriculums that are not only effective, but equip you to find the best resources for you and your family so you will create a healthy lifestyle that sticks! The courses I design encourage you to find a path to healthier living, no matter where you are. These classes are not just lists of do's and don'ts with trendy information. They are created from routines that have stood the test of time, all backed by solid research and science. My teaching style equips you to develop better insight and ability to understand marketing, labeling and insider strategies to make the best choices whether it's in business, parenting, weight management, essential oil use or relationships - it's all connected.
